2018 marks the fortieth anniversary of The Douglas Hyde Gallery.
Co-founded by the Arts Council of Ireland and Trinity College Dublin, as both the first public gallery dedicated to contemporary art and first university gallery in Ireland, it opened on March 1, 1978. 2018 will see a series of talks and events to celebrate this occasion presented under the banner of DHG@40.
Join the mailing list to keep up to date with the celebrations, and follow the Gallery's Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to enjoy a weekly series of posts from the archives, many of which have been submitted by artists who have had major solo exhibitions in The Douglas Hyde Gallery over the past forty years.
